Connecting Messenger helps businesses automate customer conversations and respond faster across Facebook pages and social channels.

This is especially useful for:

  • ecommerce stores

  • customer support

  • social engagement

  • lead generation

  • automated messaging

Open the Messenger integration

To connect Messenger:

  1. Open your workspace

  2. Go to Settings

  3. Open Integrations

  4. Stay inside the Channels tab

  5. Find Facebook Messenger

  6. Click Connect

This starts the Messenger connection flow.

Sign in with Meta

After clicking Connect, Mando AI redirects you to Meta authentication.

Inside the Meta flow:

  1. Sign in to your Facebook account

  2. Select your Meta Business account

  3. Approve the requested permissions

  4. Continue the setup process

This allows Mando AI to connect with your Facebook Page securely.

Complete the Messenger setup

Depending on your Meta configuration, you may need to:

  • select a Facebook Page

  • approve Messenger permissions

  • confirm business settings

  • review connected channels

After setup is completed, you will return to Mando AI automatically.

Verify the connection

After connecting successfully:

  1. Return to Settings → Integrations

  2. Open the Channels tab

  3. Confirm that Messenger shows as connected

Your AI Agent can now start handling Messenger conversations.

Test your Messenger experience

Before going live:

  1. Send a test message to your Facebook Page

  2. Verify AI responses

  3. Review conversation quality

  4. Test common customer questions

This helps ensure the AI behaves correctly before customers begin interacting with it.

Improve Messenger support quality

Messenger is commonly used for:
